so i’ve been thinking.

for one, i figure i need a disclaimer on everything i say. i take history and speak about it very matter of factly. and i’m pretty sure i’ve upset people with little bits before.  i will say how things were, and since i’m stating facts, personally, it doesn’t occur to me that it would be offensive, but i’m sure it has been. i will love learning them. i will always adore history. it does not mean i agree with it or love it. i will never glorify and ignore the bad just because we know better today.

FOR A (MORE RELEVANT) OTHER; i have thought a couple times about a new tag. the best i can come up with is history cw. 

because i will roleplay these things too. for example, i have a thread in my drafts with… it’s not explicitly homophobic? but they talk about how wrong it is for them. from the nature of some aus they are also sexist. but again… it’s not explicit. it’s a little vein, a product of the time, an aspect of the thread that can be picked out… and could be making someone out there uncomfortable, particularly since these aren’t themes that would obviously be on this blog.

any thoughts? suggestions?
